Design

Even though every project is unique, the steps taken to complete them are generally very similar. By defining these steps early in the planning process, we are able to match your expectations with a realistic plan for completing your project, in turn helping you to create the outdoor space of your dreams with as little hassle as possible.

By defining these steps early in the planning process, we are able to match your expectations with a realistic plan for completing your project, in turn helping you to create the outdoor space of your dreams with as little hassle as possible.

Design Concepts

Whether you realize it or not, you’ve probably already started the first step in creating your ideal landscape. To understand your preferences, we would like to hear your ideas and see pictures of what you do and don’t like. These pictures can come from Pinterest, the Home & Garden Show, or even a picture you took on a walk through your neighborhood.

Introduction Meeting

In our first meeting with you, we will walk through your property to gain an idea for the space you are looking to improve, define your goals, establish a realistic budget range, meet all the decision makers, and discuss your ideal completion timeline. Think of this as a “first date” on our journey together.

Design Meeting

Meeting with our landscape designer is one of the more exciting steps in the process. This is a chance to review your ideas and give the designer an opportunity to make suggestions about your project. Our designer will then work with our solutions team to bring your dream to life.

Solution Generation

Our team will come up with a solution for your goals, your plans will be drawn up, and we will put together an estimate for the work to be completed. We will revisit the work area to finalize site measurements, elevations, pictures and any other information essential to the proposal will be collected.

Presentation

After your plan is completed, a detailed presentation of your design and quote will take place. This will occur on-site so that we can walk through the project and help you get a sense of its scale. During this meeting we will present your contract which, upon your approval, will lead to discussions about scheduling, payment plans and any warranty or care information you may need.

Project Acceptance

Once you have officially elected to move forward with Eddington Landscaping there will be a lot of “behind-the-scenes” activity occurring prior to the actual start date. There will be materials to finalize and order, small design changes to make, job site meetings with your project manager, and a detailed walk through prior to the actual start date.

“Gardening always has been an art, essentially.”
